Rawlings Primo

The first review i will be doing is on the outfield glove that i am currently using.
It is the most expensive glove Rawlings offers and in my opinion is the best glove they make.

Now I have been using this glove for nearly 2 years and it is still in great shape, it took me about 2 months to completely break it in to perfection. The break in stage took this long because i only break in my gloves by playing catch and taking groundballs and flyballs, i feel it just makes for a better break in.

The leather is amazing, it has not torn at all and has hardly worn out at all, i do not condition my glove because i do not like the added weight it puts on the glove however if you like doing this then that is fine.

There is a downfall on the primo series, due to the dual core technology and the thicker/denser leather the glove is quite heavy, personally i like heavy gloves better however some people hate the fealing of a heavy glove.

The Bad
-Big $399 price tag.
-Heaviest glove Rawlings makes.
-Long break in time.
-Only comes in the "oxblood" color.

If you want a great glove that will keep its shape great and is great for season after season use and your not worried about a big price tag or a heavy piece of leather than this is the perfect glove for you.
